Wednesday night saw the grand premiere of Sarbjit which took place at a multiplex in Mumbai. Sarbjit is an Indian biographical drama film, starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Randeep Hooda in lead roles. It is centered around the story of Sarabjit Singh, an Indian who was wrongly convicted of spying and terrorism and imprisoned in Pakistan. The film focuses on his sister, Dalbir Kaur’s efforts to bring him justice.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who just returned from the Cannes International Film Festival, looked absolutely stunning in a black and silver Theia Couture gown. The actress is playing the lead role of Dalbir Kaur, Sarabjit’s sister in the film.

The movie is set to release this Friday, the 20th of May.
