1. Bhoomi Trailer: Sanjay Dutt Back as an Angry Dad in Revenge Drama

The trailer of Bhoomi, Sanjay Dutt’s comeback film, is out and it’s all his fans have been waiting for. Revolving around a father’s fight to get justice for his daughter - played by Aditi Rao Hydari - Bhoomi seems to be an old school revenge drama bolstered by the twin pillars of emotion and action.

2. KJo, Alia, Arjun Are Rooting for the Ultimate Prem Katha, ‘Toilet’

The much-awaited Toilet: Ek Prem Kathais all set to hit the screens on 11 August. Celebrities Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt, Arjun Kapoor and others are all rooting for the film that aims to create awareness about sanitation in the country.

3. Caste Reference Cut out of ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ by CBFC

Just a few days before its release Toilet: Ek Prem Katha is embroiled in a caste controversy. A character in the film was heard saying, “I am a Brahmin. But I eat eggs.”

While initially the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) let the line go thinking it is more an individual comment than a comment on any caste or community, it was soon brought to light that the seemingly casual line secretes a caste bias.

4. ‘Baadshaho’ Actor Esha Gupta Gets Trolled for Her Instagram Pics

The sanskari internet trolls are it again. This time, it is Baadshaho actor Esha Gupta that has irked the likes of those who bathe with their clothes on. Presumably shot for some brand or ad campaign, Esha uploaded some aesthetic images of herself unclothed, yet covered up. A look at the comments on Esha’s Insta page will show you what the Indian mind is so consumed with, because a woman showing off her body must be in want of a man that either wants to masturbate to her or has to slut shame her.

5. Madhubala Returns, This Time With Madame Tussauds

It’s been 48 years since her death, but the gorgeous Madhubala continues to mesmerise. Madame Tussauds Delhi paid a tribute to her by unveiling a lovely wax likeness today.

The statue recalls Madhubala’s most famous on-screen role, that of Anarkali in Mughal-e-Azam. It shows the actor frozen in a moment as she dances to the number Mohe Panghat Pe.

The actor’s sister Madhur Bhushan was present at the event.
