‘Tubelight’ Teaser: Is Salman Khan a Simpleton With Superpowers?

The teaser of Salman Khan’s Eid release, Tubelight is finally out! And it’s just as you would expect it to be. The film, which is directed by Kabir Khan, has the same feel-good vibe as Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
The teaser deep dives into India’s border dispute with China which eventually culminated into the Indo-China war of 1962. Against this backdrop, is the story of Salman’s character, who it appears, may possess certain superpowers.
The film, which has been shot in Ladakh, also stars Sohail Khan and 5-year-old, Matin Rey Tangu as well as Chinese actress, Zhu Zhu.
Tubelight is produced by Salma and Salim Khan.
The story of Tubelight looks remarkably similar to Little Boy which released in 2015. Little Boy revolves around the story of an eight-year-old boy who’s willing to (literally) move mountains to end World War II so he can bring his father back home.
