Salman Khan returns to his favourite day to give Eidi to his fans and treat them with pure three hours of Salman-tainment. Sultan, the much-awaited film is all set to step inside the Box Office ring and ‘dhobi pachad’ ‘its way to the cash register. And why wouldn’t it – it’s Yash Raj Films releasing on Eid and stars Salman Khan – it couldn’t get sweeter than this.

Eid mubarak!

But it’s the Salman Khan phenomenon that Sultan cashed-in on. According to reports, trade experts predict that Sultan might break past records and get Rs 150 crore on its opening day. Aye Salman!

But how does Bhai do it? What makes Salman Khan, the best PR for Sultan’s?

Sultan Overshadows Dangal

Far cries from Sultan could be heard at the poster launch of Dangal on Monday, when Aamir Khan was flooded with questions featuring Salman Khan and his “rape” remark.

Phir kya tha, Sultan overpowered Dangal. And Sultan rode on free publicity that it received from Dangal’s paid event, thanks to Salman.

Kyu bhai, swagat nahi karoge aap Salman ka?

Salman Mamu vs Nephew Ahil

Salman’s indeed got his way with the media. Till Sunday evening, the actor was recovering from all the whiplash, thanks to his “raped woman” remark. But suddenly, overnight the media made him ‘cuteness personified’.

On Monday, Salman’s sister Arpita uploaded a video of Salman singing Sultan’s title track while he played with his nephew Ahil. The video melted everyone’s heart and made them forget about his tasteless, insensitive comment.

Now seriously, who could have asked for a better promotion for Sultan than baby Ahil matching up to his Mamu’s wrestling moves just a day before the release of the film.

This is too much fun!

Salman Took Over the Television

Salman ‘junoon’ ruled television channels last weekend when the actor was on each and every prime-time show promoting Sultan. Whatever channel you switched to, Bhai and his beanie cap was on it. There was no escaping the Salmania that turned our living rooms into Sultan’s akhara.

No wonder the makers of Sultan have apparently decided to keep the movie promotion low key. ’Cuz, zindagi mein teen cheez kabhi underestimate nahi karna – I, me and myself.
