Salman Khan spoke up against the move to ban Pakistani artistes and emphasized saying, “They are artists not terrorists. It’s the Govt who gives them permits and visas.”

The Indian Motion Picture Producers’ Association (IMPPA) on 29 September passed a resolution in its AGM on Thursday evening banning Pakistani actors, technicians and singers from working in India. The decision comes on a day when the Indian army announced the news of having carried out surgical strikes along the Line Of Control, as a mighty response to the recent attacks in Uri.

The Bajrangi Bhaijaan actor also commented on the surgical strike conducted by the Indian Army saying, “Terrorists the na? Proper action tha.”

Vice President of IMPPA, Ashoke Pandit responded to Salman’s stance on the Pakistani artistes ban.
