1. Salman’s Version to Replace Arijit’s Song in Sultan
The Salman-Arijit controversy seems to have finally come to a conclusion. After much discussion on the topic and Arijit’s public apology to Salman, everyone is eager to know whether Salman will include Arijit’s song in Sultan or not. According to Bollywoodlife, a decision has been made. Apparently Salman along with the makers of Sultan have decided to not include the Arijit’s song in the film. However, the song itself will not be completely missing from the movie. Salman’s version of the track, the recording of which was already done a few weeks back will now replace the version sung by Arijit.
2. Amitabh’s New Song Released at the ‘Te3n’ Music Launch
With less than two weeks for the film to be released, Te3n’s music launch was held earlier today. The function saw Amitabh Bachchan, Ribhu Dasgupta, music director Clinton Cerejo and lyricist Amitabh Bhattacharya in attendance. The film’s music album which was released includes a new song sung by Big B himself. Besides Amitabh, the film stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Vidya Balan as well. Te3n is directed by Ribhu Dasgupta and produced by filmmaker Sujoy Ghosh.
In the song Kyun Re, Amitabh’s voice is absolutely enchanting and really conveys the pain felt by his character. Te3n is scheduled to release on 10th June.
3. Katrina Kaif Arrives in Mumbai Remains Calm After Being Chased by Reporters
Katrina Kaif, after wrapping up the Morocco schedule for Jagga Jasoos, reportedly spent a few days with her family in London before flying back to Mumbai. While Katrina wanted to make a quiet exit from the arrival terminal of the Mumbai airport, she ended up being surrounded by a horde of reporters and photographers who followed her right till her car.
Even when they continued to thrust their boom mics at her and asked her why she’d called them to the airport, Katrina kept her calm and replied ‘Main ne nahin bulaya hai’. Well Katrina, it’s not easy being a star.
4. Priyanka Chopra’s Warm Welcome Home
Jet setter Priyanka Chopra is finally back from Quantico Land and her fans and media at the airport welcomed her with much enthusiasm. Priyanka looked casual and comfy in black leathers crops and a white hoodie. She was spotted along with her Quantico co-star Yasmine Al Massri.
Priyanka will be spending some time in India before heading back to LA to shoot for Quantico season 2.
5. Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin Reach Divorce Settlement
Two years since they pulled the plug on their marriage, actress Gwyneth Paltrow and singer Chris Martin have finally reached a divorce settlement. Reports suggest that both of them have forfeited spousal support and have come to an agreement regarding property and child support. A final judgment from the court is the last step in the termination of their almost 12-year-long marriage.
They were married in 2003 and filed for divorce in 2015 when they announced they were “consciously uncoupling”. However the two have remained amicable with each other. They continue to be a family and spend quality time with their kids, Apple, 12, and Moses, 10.
