Salman Khan, who is currently hosting the ninth season of Bigg Boss on popular GEC Colors, is reported to have teamed up with the channel to host yet another reality show. The Farm, is a hugely popular reality show format across many countries, which is supposedly the reason why Salman has bought the Indian rights for the show’s Indian broadcast.
According to a Pink Villa report, The Farm is set inside an actual village and the contestants will be seen farming, raising animals and milking cows as part of their daily tasks. At regular intervals, one of the contestants will get evicted. A few months ago, Salman had told DNA that the reality show will be on the lines of Bigg Boss, wherein 12 popular celebrities will participate.
Interestingly, Salman’s rumoured girlfriend and Romanian TV host Iulia Vantur hosts the Romanian version of The Farm. The gorgeous actress recently posted a picture on her Instagram account stating that she is travelling to Cyprus to shoot for The Farm. In other news, Bigg Boss 9 is nearing conclusion and has got its top five contestants of the season -- Prince Narula, Mandana Karimi, Keith Sequeira, Rishabh Singh and Rochelle Rao. So we’ll know soon enough if Salman is indeed jumping from the lavish Bigg Boss house to a rural farm.
