Ryan Gosling, Emma Stone and Damien Chazelle are on a high and probably in La La Land already after their musical won in all seven categories that it had been nominated in. Now that’s a record Hollywood has hardly seen getting broken.

The Lionsgate film has broken the Golden Globe record of most wins by a film. Before the 74th Golden Globe Awards, that record was reportedly shared by One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975) and Midnight Express (1978), with six wins each.

La La Land won in each category that it was nominated in including best musical/comedy film. Damien Chazelle won the awards for directing and screenplay; Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling took home the awards for best actor and actress, respectively; composer Justin Hurwitz won for best score, as well as best original song with lyricists Benj Pasek and Justin Paul for City of Stars.

Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling probably knew that their film will win big, but who could’ve imagined this mammoth victory?
