Revathy to Direct Tamil & Telugu Remakes of Vikas Bahl’s ‘Queen’
Kangana Ranaut starrer Queen will now be remade in Telugu and Tamil.
Veteran actor cum filmmaker Revathy who has directed films like Mitr: My Friend and Phir Milenge, will now remake Vikas Bahl’s much acclaimed 2013 hit, Queen.
A source told IANS, “Revathy has been roped in to direct the remake. While the lead cast is yet to be finalised, the film will have dialogues in both the languages by actress Suhasini Mani Ratnam.”
Queen, which starred Kangana Ranaut in the lead, is the story of a young Punjabi girl who embarks on her honeymoon to Paris, all alone after her fiancé calls off their wedding.
The lead actress and the title of the films are yet to be announced.
