Looks like wedding celebrations are still not over for the Khans. Six months after Salman’s sister Arpita got hitched in a grand ceremony, the Khan family is again having a wedding reception, but this time its in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh which is her husband Aayush Sharma’s hometown.
2. Karan Johar Celebrates His Birthday With Friends in London
Karan Johar turned 43 yesterday and he called in his birthday with friends in London. He partied the night away with Shilpa Shetty, Malaika Arora Khan, Ranbir Kapoor and Ayan Mukherji. Known for his big birthday bashes, Karan is reportedly planning to throw a party once he is back in town.
3. Aamir Khan’s PK Breaks Records in China
Barely three days after its much-anticipated launch in China, Rajkumar Hirani’s film PK is already breaking box office records. As of Monday (May 25), the film had raked in 35 million RMB (Rs 35 crore) in just three days after its Friday launch. Prior to PK, the top grossing Indian film in China was Dhoom 3. After the Tevar debacle and the ‘Roast’ controversy, Arjun is playing it safe. The actor has signed a film with none other than R Balki opposite Kareena Kapoor Khan. The actress, who is wrapping up Bajrangi Bhaijaan, is paired opposite the Kapoor lad for the first time. Also, Arjun Kapoor, who is known for his intense roles, will be experimenting with the romantic-comedy genre for the first time. Actor-director Nandita Das visited the recently-concluded Cannes Film Festival to look for producers and financiers for her upcoming film on famous Urdu short story writer Saadat Hasan Manto.
