Here’s Priyanka Chopra’s Reply to ‘Why Jordan & Not Rural India’
Priyanka Chopra shut down a troll telling her to visit malnourished children in India instead of Jordan.
Priyanka Chopra is in Jordan to meet the children affected by the civil war and the subsequent refugee crisis in Syria. She has generously been talking about her experience on social media.
As Priyanka went about highlighting the issues being faced by the children of the humanitarian crisis, someone decided to make it a political issue. He said that before Priyanka focused on the children in Jordan, she should visit those malnourished in rural areas of India.
PeeCee, not one to take things lying down, responded that she has, in fact, worked with UNICEF India for 12 years to help those in need.
She said that every life is worth fighting for and it would be better if one refrained from making statements out of their suffering.
