A couple of months back, actress Tannishtha Chatterjee, who was promoting her film Parched, walked out of Comedy Nights Bachao Taaza on grounds of host Krushna Abhishek’s racist jokes. And now, John Abraham, who was there to promote Force 2 with Sonakshi Sinha, has walked out of the show because Krushna roasted him for his earlier films.

According to Times of India, Krushna, who was quite unmoved by Tannishtha’s allegations, is upset about the incident.

John and I have known each other for many years now and he is the only Bollywood actor who called me when my father passed away recently. I am really sad that I upset him.

He also added:

I was cracking jokes on his earlier films like Paap. That’s when he told me that those were his favourite films.

That was when John lost his cool and consequently refused to join Sonakshi and Krushna on stage to dance. And though Krushna tried to mollify the star, John remains too miffed to respond.

Sometime later, when he refused to shake a leg with Sonakshi and me on stage, I realised that he was upset. He soon walked out and I ran after him, but he left. I want to apologise to him; I haven’t slept since the last few days because of this. I specially flew down from my shoot in Kulu Manali because John had agreed to be on the show. I hope he understands and forgives me.

Not too many takers of a roast in this country, eh Krushna?
