Bollywood should hang its head in shame over how they hold their award functions. On 6 January 2017, Bollywood lost one of its most shining gem, Om Puri.

The late actor’s name was included in the tribute that the Oscars made for actors lost in the past year. Nawazuddin Siddiqui took to Twitter to rightly point out how the Oscars paid homage to the late Om Puri, but Bollywood award functions couldn’t even mention his name in their 5-hour-long-something award functions.
