Nana Patekar took to the streets to promote the sequel to his 2014 crime thriller Ab Tak Chhappan. The actor will be returning to the role of Saadhu Aagashe, an encounter specialist, resembling the real-life cop Daya Nayak. 

The film will see Saadhu, who has taken voluntary retirement  after 56 encounters, being called back by the police to put an end to terrorist activity.

Inspired by the real life events of encounter specialist Daya Nayak, the film’s first version had garnered about 3 to 4 stars on the ratings charts back in 2014. Despite the fact that the sequel might miss its original director Shimit Amin and producer Ram Gopal Varma, both renowned for the thriller genre, the trailer manages to convey the grit of this underworld drama. Will the sequel manage to win a similar response from fans and critics? We will only find out on February 27th, 2015 .

The film also stars Ashutosh Rana who plays a cop and Gul Panag, who will be seen essaying the character of an investigative journalist.
