Pak Original ‘Hawa Hawa’ Gets a Third Life in Arjun’s ‘Mubarakan’

The makers of Mubarakan have dropped a new song from their film, Hawa Hawa which is, in fact, a reprised version of Hawa Hawa E Hawa by Pakistani pop singer, Hasan Jahangir.
If you’ve seen the trailer of the film, you know this Anees Bazmee flick is a typical family comedy and this song fits right in with the protagonist, Arjun Kapoor trying to woo his on-screen girl, Ileana D’Cruz.
The latest version of the song has been sung by Mika Singh and Prakriti Kakar.

But this isn’t the only time the song has been given a new lease of life. Hasan’s famous 80s track saw another version of it in a 2012 film, Chaalis Chauraasi (4084) starring Naseeruddin Shah and Kay Kay Menon.
Don’t know about you, but we prefer the original track, minus the “boyfriend bana le” line!
