Musicians pay tribute to Mohammed Rafi with a rendition of 'Abhi Na Jao Chhod Kar'.

Renowned musicians, including Shubha Mudgal, Ustad Amjad Ali Khan, Usha Uthup, and Shankar Mahadevan, came together to pay tribute to the musical legend Mohammed Rafi with a rendition of his song ‘Abhi Na Jao Chhod Kar’.

Rafi, who passed away in July 1980, would've turned 100 on 24 December. The pre-recorded concert was uploaded on YouTube with the caption, “Presenting our first song from the World Music Day 24 Concert, 'Abhi Na Jao Chodkar', originally sung by the evergreen Md. Rafi. His music lives in our hearts and here is a tribute to him from us.”

The performance was produced by pianist Sourendro Mullick and vocalist Soumyojit Das.

The original song was sung by Md Rafi and Asha Bhosle and features in the Dev Anand and Sadhana-starrer ‘Hum Dono’.
