Crossing 100 million views, singer Atif Aslam’s rendition of popular qawwali Tajdar-e-Haram has broken all previous records held by YouTube videos from Pakistan. The song was performed by Atif - the original composition is by the Sabri Brothers - and produced by Strings on Coke Studio Season 8.

Coke Studio, in the recent years has been catering to various genres of music accessible to the audience. The show was created by Pakistani music producer Rohail Hyatt in the year 2008 and since then, has made a mark of being the longest running music show on the television. Previously a song sung by Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and Momina Mustehan, Afreen Afreen, had hit 100 million views on YouTube within a year of its release.
