The Oscar winning musician, AR Rahman modified the lyrics of his popular song Mustafa Mustafa, at a US Concert to turn it into an anthem of courage and solidarity for the flood-ravaged Kerala.

He sang, ‘Don’t Worry Kerala’ to the tune of the aforesaid popular song to a packed venue in California. The state is struggling to recover from the worst floods in about a century.

His gesture elicited applause online and offline. Netizens are all praises for the musician’s show of support. He was singing the original Tamil version from the film Kadhal Desam and the version has now gone viral.

The rising water in Kerala has killed over 300 people and has rendered countless residents homeless.
