Everyone’s waiting for Varun Dhawan’s twin act in Judwaa 2 to finally hit screens. While the film opens in theatres in India on 29 September, it has already hit screens in the Middle East. Some early reviews of the David Dhawan entertainer are out, and they seem to be predictably obvious - it’s a leave-your-brains-at-home comedy that doesn’t raise too many laughs.

An early review of the film which appeared in Gulf News has trashed the film, headlining their take as, “Watch this Varun Dhawan Comedy at Your Own Risk”. The write-up describes the film as a “disastrous twin comedy filled with crude physical comedy”.

The review goes on to say that Varun Dhawan doesn’t have Salman Khan’s star power or charisma and he’s further burdened by terrible writing, especially the dialogues which feel like they’ve been “written by an adolescent”.

Here are some reactions that Judwaa 2 is getting on Twitter:

With business in Bollywood going through a bad phase this year, there are a lot of hopes pinned on Judwaa 2 but the early reviews don’t look too good.
