Salman Khan Changes Film Title from ‘LoveRatri’ to ‘LoveYatri’

Salman Khan has given in to certain Hindu right wing groups who were protesting against the title of his upcoming production LoveRatri, which features his brother-in-law Aayush Sharma and Warina Hussain. The actor announced a change in the film’s title from LoveRatri to LoveYatri.

Last week a court in Bihar’s Muzaffarpur region ordered an FIR to be filed against Salman Khan and seven others for allegedly hurting Hindu sentiments with the title LoveRatri. Earlier, certain groups including the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) had demanded that the makers change the title of the film as it “hurt Hindu sentiments”.

Weinstein Accused of 11 More Sexual Assaults

British police are reportedly investigating 11 allegations of sexual assault against disgraced American movie producer Harvey Weinstein, who is already facing similar charges in the US.

The Metropolitan Police said it has received allegations of sexual assault from 11 victims in connection to "Operation Kaguyak", the CNN reported.

Although the police statement did not identify the accused, in accordance with police policy meant to protect suspects who have not been charged, it has been widely reported that Operation Kaguyak is the name of the British investigation into Weinstein, reports IANS.

Nora Fatehi to Debut as Singer

Dancer-actress Nora Fatehi is set to make her singing debut. She has collaborated with Morocco-based group Fnaire to re-create the official Arabic adaptation of "Dilbar".

"It is a huge deal for both Morocco and India because this is the first time we will be getting Indian culture and Moroccan culture together artistically and musically and this has been my goal as well, to bring them together," Nora said in a statement.

"As 'Dilbar' has become a huge hit internationally, including Middle East, we have taken the song and re-composed it, written Arabic and Moroccan lyrics and we recorded, with me singing with Fnaire, reports IANS.

Sonam, Anand to Be Special Guests at Armani's Show in Milan

"Every girl should pursue their passion and follow their dreams. And these small choices will strenghthen our women and will make them more confident," the "Jism 2" actress told media, who was present at Madame Tussauds here on Tuesday to unveil her wax statue, reports IANS.

Felt Bad With Audience Response to 'Race 3': Remo

Filmmaker-choreographer Remo D'Souza, who is gearing up for his forthcoming reality show 'Dance Plus' season 4 has said that he felt bad as his last directorial 'Race 3' was not able to do desired business at the box-office.

It was not able to do desired business at the box-office despite having huge star cast and budgets, when asked Remo what went wrong with the film, he said: "As a director, I feel bad because I wasn't able to take that film to a landmark where I have imagined before starting a film.

"At the same time, I think whatever responsibility had given to me, I tried to do my level best to make that film better and I did everything as per my capability."

First Poster for Sharman Joshi's 'Kaashi'

The makers of the film Kaashi In Search of Ganga starring Sharman Joshi in the lead role have released the first poster. Kaashi is directed by Dhiraj Kumar and will release on 26 October. The trailer will be out later today.

Priyanka Chopra's Assamese Film to Release on October 26

Jahnu Barua directorial "Bhoga Khirikee", the first Assamese movie to be produced by Priyanka Chopra's banner, will release on October 26.

Produced by Priyanka's Purple Pebble Pictures and Shahnaab Alam's Easterly Entertainment, the movie will also open the second edition of the Guwahati International Film Festival (GIFF) on October 25. The announcement was made at a conference here on Wednesday in the presence of producers Madhu Chopra and Alam, Barua, lead actor Zerifa Wahid and composer Ibson Lal Baruah.

Bhoga Khirikee also stars stellar performers like Seema Biswas, Joy Kashyap, Sanjay Khargharia, Kasvi Sharma, Mohommed Ali Shah and Bishnu Khargharia.

S. Korean Playwright Sentenced to 6 Years for Sexual Assault

A Seoul court sentenced renowned playwright and stage director Lee Youn-taek to six years in prison on Wednesday on multiple charges of sexual assault.

The Seoul Central District Court handed down the guilty verdict for Lee Youn-taek, 66, in a case that sparked a "Me Too" movement in the art and entertainment sectors in South Korea, Yonhap news agency reported.

The court ordered him to take 80 hours of therapy sessions and banned him from working at any entity related to children and adolescents for the next 10 years, reports IANS.
