Canadian Duo Takes Inspiration from ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ Poster

‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ continues to inspire - 18 years later.

For a change here’s the West getting inspired from Bollywood and that too a poster. Remember the poster of Shah Rukh Khan - Kajol starrer Kuch Kuch Hota Hai? A Canadian duo seem to love it so that that they decided to copy it 18 years later.

The poster in question is of brother and sister duo Tennysons, where the brother has posed just like Shah Rukh Khan had, while the sister’s pose is totally inspired by Kajol’s in the film. Everything down to the clothes worn on the posters are the same.

Luke & Tess Tennyson, 18 and 16 respectively uploaded an instrumental single XYZ with this poster and instantly caught the attention of netizens.

The Canadian duo copied the KKHH poster and even admitted to the same in an email interview.

It was hard to convey, but the intro is what I imagine a tree growing really fast would sound like. We got the idea for the artwork from a Bollywood movie called <i>Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.</i> Tess and I took the photos at Value Village so we could find the right clothes.
