Katrina Kaif’s Red Hair in Fitoor cost 55 lakhs?

Since Katrina wasn’t happy with the colouring done by Indian hairstylists, she went to London to dye her hair.

If you’ve been admiring Katrina Kaif’s lustrous red hair in the promos of Fitoor, you should also know that it came with a price tag of Rs 55 lakhs.

According to reports, the director of the film, Abhishek Kapoor, wanted both his heroines - Katrina and Tabu to sport red hair in the film, as a metaphor or tribute to the red autumn leaves of the Chinar in Kashmir.

But, since Katrina wasn’t happy with the colouring done by any of the Indian hairstylists, she was allowed to visit a London-based hairstylist for the job. So the actress’ frequent visits to London, including her business class air tickets and her five-star accommodation ran up a bill for Rs 55 lakhs.

Who says Bollywood doesn’t aim for excellence? Yeah, just kidding.
