A week after Kangana Ranaut’s ‘writer’ credit controversy, actress Vidya Balan took a sly dig at her. Vidya, who is known for her sense of humour, posted a picture holding a credit card on her Instagram account.
She captioned the photo as, "Who needs credit when your director gifts you this card ?!! Thankoo Suresh Triveni."
Naturally, we would expect Kangana Ranaut to elicit a reaction. Well, the actress laughed and responded graciously to Vidya’s dig.
Writer, Apurva Asrani also reposted Vidya’s picture and wrote, “Vidya Balan gets additional credit on her new film, Tumhari Sulu. Brilliant.”
Kangana Ranaut's film Simran, directed by Hansal Mehta and produced by Shailesh Singh, is all set to release on 15 September 2017 with Kangana in a comic avatar.
The actress is also expanding her profile with diverse roles as her historic-theme film, Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi is lined up for a release next year.
