Believe it or not, after all the war of words, cold vibes and open letters that were exchanged last year, Kangana Ranaut and Karan Johar are coming together this Thursday to shoot for a reality TV show.

Ironically, Kangana and Karan are coming face to face on a talent hunt show called India’s Next Superstar, where strugglers without any connection to the film industry find a platform to prove their talent, umm remember the “nepotism” debate?

India’s Next Superstar has Karan Johar and Rohit Shetty as judges, while Kangana will make an appearance on the show as a guest judge this week. Speaking to Mumbai Mirror about her scheduled meeting on the sets of the show, Kangana said, “I am looking forward to being on the show. It is a professional commitment for which I'm being paid. What is delightful is that Karan is okay with doing the show with me and seems to be slowly warming up to me.”

The cold war between Kangana Ranaut and Karan Johar began after the actor called the filmmaker a “snooty flag-bearer of nepotism” and alleged that he represented the “movie mafia” on his show Koffee With Karan.

The clash later snowballed after Karan Johar said that he was tired of Kangana playing the victim card, and should consider quitting Bollywood. Kangana responded by saying that she wasn’t fighting Karan Johar but male chauvinism - and it went on and on at the end of which Kangana had also written an open letter too... phew!

So how did the Kangana - Karan get together fall in place? The filmmaker was asked recently during a press meet if he would be open to having Kangana on his reality show, to which KJo replied, “Our heart is big, our house is open to all. We will happily, lovingly and respectfully welcome her on the show.”

Kangana later reacted to KJo’s “invitation” by stating, “I’m happy that Karan is making me feel so welcome, but I think I have been worthy of every platform I’ve been on. I’ve earned my place and deserve to be on it. Nobody has to open any doors for me I am capable of opening all the doors myself.”

Hmmm, we wonder if coming together on the reality TV show will finally patch up things between the two.
