The box office has barely recovered from the smashing success of Rajinikanth’s sci-fi blockbuster 2.0 and the Superstar already has another film just days from release!
The Hindi trailer of Petta, starring Rajinikanth and directed by Karthik Subbaraj is here! Karthik has made popular entertainers like Jigarthanda and Pizza earlier.
Rajinikanth is back in his 90s avatar, and the trailer seems to bank heavily on the original ‘superstar’ nostalgia with the music and the story arc! What do you guys think?

Petta stars Rajini as a hostel warden who isn’t afraid to get his hands dirty. The trailer is full of crowd-pleasing action moments and seeti-maar dialogues. Just like 2.0 featured Akshay Kumar as the villain, here Nawazuddin Siddiqui is making his Tamil debut as the antagonist.
The cast also includes Vijay Sethupathi, Simran, Trisha, Bobby Simha and Sasikumar. Anirudh Ravichandran’s music is already a hit. Petta releases in theatres on 10 January.
