Nawazuddin, Amrita Rao, Uddhav Thackeray at ‘Thackeray’ Screening

A special preview of the Bal Thackeray biopic ‘Thackeray’ was held in Mumbai.

A special screening of Bal Thackeray’s biopic titled Thackeray directed by Abhijit Panse and produced by Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut was held in Mumbai on Wednesday night. Lead actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who plays the founder of the Shiv Sena in the bio pic, along with co-star Amrita Rao were seen at the event. The late Bal Thackeray’s son Uddhav and grandson Aaditya Thackeray came to see the film at the special screening. Former Maharashtra Chief Minister, Sushilkumar Shinde was also seen at the event.

Thackeray, the biopic on the Shiv Sena supremo, is scheduled to release in theatres in Marathi and Hindi on 25 January. Here are pictures from the special preview held in Mumbai:
