The ugly spat between Bollywood stars Hrithik Roshan and Kangana Ranaut that has been dominating headlines is likely to reach its conclusion.
According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, the Mumbai police’s probe into the emails allegedly exchanged between Hrithik and Kangana could not be proven and the police is likely to close the case. These emails were central to the investigation, infact they were the deal-breaker.
While Kangana claims that Hrithik sent her the romantic and private emails from the email ID hroshan@email.com, Hrithik vehemently denies it and says it is the work of an impostor.
But according to the police, it seems the server of these mails is located in the US and it is next to impossible to conclude who might be sitting on the other end.
The email exchanges suggested that Hrithik and Kangana were romantically involved but Hrithik has never admitted to it. Kangana, on the other hand, accuses Hrithik of lying and claims they regularly wrote to each other via emails.
A source close to Kangana had even claimed that Hrithik had proposed to her in Paris in January 2014 which has again been denied by Hrithik’s legal team. Kangana also alleged that Hrithik hacked into her private email ID to delete the exchanges between the two.
Hrithik’s team, on the other hand, has accused Kangana of stalking, sending him 50 messages a day and also claimed she has Asperger’s syndrome. Angered by Kangana’s dismissal of the ugly spat as the work of a “silly ex”, Hrithik also denied ever dating her.
But the “NIL report” submitted by Mumbai police shows that the cyber police was unable to reach a conclusion and establish facts about the email exchange.
However, Kangana’s lawyer, Rizwan Siddiquee, said the “NIL report” showed that there was no imposter as claimed by Hrithik.
Hrithik’s representatives are yet to respond.
