Akshay Miffed with ‘Comedy Nights Bachao’ Team for Racist Jokes?

While all might seem hunky dory in these pictures from the Housefull 3 cast’s appearance on popular show Comedy Nights Bachao, we hear there was an ugly fight on the sets between Akshay Kumar and stand up comic Siddharth Jadhav.
Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Lisa Haydon and Jacqueline Fernandez were on the sets of the popular show Comedy Nights Bachao earlier this week. Though the Housefull 3 gang were having a great time with the show’s cast initially, things reportedly turned unpleasant during the shoot of the episode. According to an IBT report, Siddharth Jadhav took things too far when he made racist comments about the film’s leading ladies Lisa Haydon and Jacqueline Fernandez.
As a part of his funny act he called Lisa a “black African” and described her as someone who looks like a Kangaroo from Australia. While Lisa didn’t understand the insult since he spoke in Hindi, it really got Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh fuming. We hear that they even got into a scuffle with the stand up comic.
Siddharth’s intention was probably to poke fun at Lisa and Jacqueline’s accents, but the Housefull 3 men weren’t laughing. With the film releasing on June 3rd, we hope the boys really stood up for the girls, and that this scuffle wasn’t just a publicity stunt.
