Netflix’s Sacred Games not only earned rave reviews but also earned the love of netizens on the web-streaming platform. Saif Ali Khan was recently spotted replete with a turban, in character, on the sets of the show. Khan’s track is now steered by Neeraj Ghaywan. The second season will delve into Gaitonde’s relationship with his “third father” Guruji (Pankaj Tripathi).
Kashyap and Motwane, who co-directed the hit series, came under fire, earlier this year for their alleged inaction in the sexual harassment allegations against former Phantom Films partner Vikas Bahl by an employee, a charge they both denied.
In October, this year, Netflix confirmed that the streaming giant will continue its association with Vikramaditya Motwane, Anurag Kashyap and writer Varun Grover for the second season of Sacred Games. The streaming giant earlier said in a statement that they carried out an independent investigation and were satisfied with the results.
