Swedish YouTuber Felix Kjellberg aka PewDiePie crossed the 100 million subscriber mark on YouTube today, 25 August. This makes him the first individual creator (not a company or a large media house) to cross the mark on the video sharing platform.

The Vlogger currently has the second highest subscriber base on Youtube, behind Indian music company, T-Series, which became the first YouTube channel to garner 100 million subscribers. He had been competing with the music company to take the top spot for while now.

YouTube congratulated the star Vlogger on their Twitter account.

PewDiePie is indeed enjoying a special month, as few days back the YouTuber was in news for his marriage to girlfriend of seven years, Marzia Bisognin. The two got married on 19 August.

“Our wedding day was the best day ever! Really couldn't have asked for a better wedding. Everything was perfect and I’m just so happy. I want to thank all the guest that came for bringing so much joy and happiness on our special day,” he wrote on Instagram.
