Hotstar’s ‘Out of Love’ Is a Story of Infidelity & Heartbreak

Based on BBC’s award-winning series Doctor Foster, Hotstar’s new original Out of Love is the story of heartbreak and infidelity in a marriage. Rasika Dugal plays the role of Dr Meera Kapur who manages home and job beautifully and Purab Kohli plays the role of Akarsh Kapoor.

The trailer depicts them in a happy marriage until one day Dr Kapur starts to suspect and then finds out that her husband is cheating on her which raises the key question – when faced with infidelity, would you forgive, forget or fight?
Produced by BBC Studios and Directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia and Aijaz Khan, Out of Love depicts the emotional and psychological dilemma that erupts from complex relationships.
Rasika will next appear in Hotstar’s Lootcase alongside Kunal Khemu and Vijay Raaz. She was last seen in Netflix’s original Delhi Crime alongside Shefali Shah where they both played cops in the real-life based drama. Purab was last seen in the Akshay Kumar starrer Mission Mangal.
Hotstar Specials which is the streaming platform’s label of original series includes Criminal Justice, Hostages, City of Dreams and the Indian remake of The Office. Tigmanshu Dhulia also directed the first season of Criminal Justice which is a remake of the British series of the same name.
Out of Love will drop on Hotstar on 22 November.
