After Sacred Games, Netflix dives headfirst into the horror genre. The poster of Netflix action horror series, Ghoul is here and we are gearing up for the heebie-jeebies. ‘Ghoul’ is a chilling series about a prisoner who arrives at a remote military interrogation centre and turns the tables on his interrogators, exposing their most shameful secrets. All three episodes are set to be launched on 24 August.

Produced in partnership with Phantom Films, Ivanhoe and Blumhouse, it is written and directed by Patrick Graham, the creator of the iconic horror films, Paranormal Activity, Insidious and Sinister . Bolstered by performances by Radhika Apte and Manav Kaul, we can expect Ghoul to be nerve-racking, to say the least.

Ghoul literally means an evil spirit or a demon in Arabian mythology, associated with stealing graves and consuming human flesh off dead bodies. Sounds like an agreeably morbid and horrific treat for horror fans!
