The much-awaited trailer of Netflix’s Ghost Stories by Karan Johar, Dibakar Banerjee, Zoya Akhtar and Anurag Kashyap is finally here and it promises to send chills down your spine this New Year. The 2.18 minutes trailer showcases glimpses of four horror stories by the four directors.

Starring Janhvi Kapoor, Sobhita Dhulipala, Mrunal Thakur, Surekha Sikri the trailer is gruesome in parts, and the jump scares might scare you out of your wits. While Janhvi is seen a nurse and caretaker for Surekha Sikri, Sobhita is a pregnant woman who is seen feeding dolls. Mrunal is shown as a newly wed bride whose husband believes that his dead ‘granny’ is still around. Watch the trailer here:

The anthology will drop on Netflix on 1 January at 12 am. The teaser for the same was released recently and the clip began with a girl standing by a bench that overlooks a bare tree. We also got glimpses of eerie things taking place inside a house.

Some time back, the directors had released a promo of Ghost Stories, promising to usher in our new year with a scream. They introduced themselves in the clip and said that last year they had a lot of fun with Lust Stories, so they decided to go one step further with Ghost Stories. “We ventured into a space that none of us have ever been before,” Zoya says.
