The ‘dabba’ (lunchbox) is one of the lifelines of Mumbai’s working class. What happens then when a group of middle-class women get involved in a high-stakes drug cartel involving these inconspicuous tiffin boxes?

The trailer for Dabba Cartel, directed by Hitesh Bhatia, dropped on 18 February. The trailer opens with a brief introduction of the group’s operation – they make two kind of tiffins, one with food, and one with drugs. But things get even murkier when their operation gets entangled in the suspect world of Viva Life Pharmaceuticals and a new kingpin enters the picture.
