Pakistani model and social media sensation Qandeel Baloch who has made headlines for her outspoken views was ruthlessly killed by her brother on Saturday.

Qandeel was fearless and never shied away from speaking out.

Her death garnered polarised reactions on Twitter by the film and music industry, media and those “happy” with her murder.

The film and music industry reacted to the murder of the Pakistani model.

Former Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari’s daughter, Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari spoke out on the need for the emancipation of Pakistani women.

Baloch’s death also started a conversation among the media from both sides of the border.

However, a certain section of people are shockingly rather pleased with the situation.
