Popular TV actor and former Bigg Boss winner Gautam Gulati is slated to play the role of cricketer Ravi Shastri in the biopic Azhar. When asked for a confirmation, Gulati did say that he was going to play Shastri in the film, but could not reveal anything further. Azhar directed by filmmaker Tony D’souza is based on the life of former Indian cricket captain Mohammad Azharuddin, in which Emraan Hashmi plays the lead.
