Esha Deol and Bharat Name Their Newborn Daughter Radhya

Esha Deol and Bharat Takhtani have named their newborn baby girl Radhya. According to a note from the family, Radhya is derived from Radha, which means to be worshipped.

The couple were seen holding their baby and waving to photographers outside Hinduja hospital in Mumbai’s Khar suburb on Monday evening.

“Ab ghar par Lakshmiji aagayi” tweeted Hema Malini on Monday night.

“We are very happy to announce that our daughter will be named as Radhya Takhtani. The name has been jointly decided by Esha and me.”

The family is expected to have a formal naming ceremony in a week’s time. “It feels wonderful to hold that bundle of joy in my hands. Esha has always been very close to my heart,” said Dharamendra to The Quint, overjoyed after the news of the arrival of his grandchild.
