Wonder Woman fans, brace yourselves. Chris Pine’s Steve Trevor might not be dead after all. Director Patty Jenkins shared a still on Twitter from the sequel, Wonder Woman 1984, with the slogan: “Welcome to WONDER WOMAN 1984, Steve Trevor! #WW84”.

Which begs the question - did Steve Trevor actually not die as we all believed in the first film? Well, Chris Pine fans aren’t complaining for sure!

Wonder Woman 1984 is set against the backdrop of the Cold War. Wonder Woman, which became a phenomenon and raked in $821.9 million at the global box office in 2017, was set in the 1910s.
