Dhanush is ready to make his international debut with The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir. The southern superstar took to social media to share the teaser poster of the film directed by Ken Scott and co-starring Berenice Bejo and Gerard Jugnot.

Based on Romain Puertolas’s novel, The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir Who Got Trapped in an Ikea Wardrobe, the English-French comedy revolves around the adventures of Ajatashatru Oghash Rathod, a 38-year-old fakir who hoodwinks his way through a world of adventures.

Check out the teaser poster here:

The teaser is strongly reminiscent of films like The Guru and plays up quintessential Oriental motifs. But it looks like a fun watch and Dhanush seems to light up every scene with his presence. So hang on, we would say - the film is supposed to release this summer.
