AR Murugadoss and Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu's upcoming thriller SPYder is already making waves. After sending fans into a tizzy over the teaser, the film is back in the news over the phenomenal pre-release business it’s doing.

According to a report by Telugu360, the rights of the bilingual film in the US has already been settled at Rs 15.5 crore. On the other hand, the out-of-India Tamil rights have been sold for Rs 8 crore - making it a total of a whopping Rs 23.5 crore. It’s a record, second only to Baahubali.

SPYder is a thriller that will see Babu as an intelligence agent, who along with his hi-tech, VFX-built robotic device that resembles a spider, takes on terrorism. It also stars Rakul Preet Singh and SJ Surya. It is slated to release on 27 September.
