A three-star rating for Pawan Kalyan’s latest film Katamarayudu, Mana TV enraged two fans of the actor. On a Mana TV broadcast in Hyderabad, two men assaulted an anchor who was discussing the movie.

In addition to this, they started tearing down the walls of the studio, kicking, and then throwing the chair on which the anchor was seated.

The two fans were restrained by the studio staff and were later escorted out

Twitterati, immediately, weighed in on the incident. Some wondered if this was a stunt staged for the purpose of publicity, while some condemned the fans, as well as Kalyan himself.

Kalyan’s film has been largely successful, and has grossed over 70 crore since it’s release last Friday.

Directed by Dolly, the film is a remake of Tamil blockbuster Veeram, which starred Ajith Kumar in the lead.

Katamarayudu also features Shruti Haasan, Siva Balaji, Ajay, Kamal Kamaraju and Chaitanya Krishna in important roles.
