The whopping South-Korean music video Gangnam-Style, that refused to let PSY slip from his top spot on YouTube for five consecutive years, finally stands vanquished. According to a BBC News report, Wiz Khalifa’s See You Again featuring Charlie Puth has garnered 2,902,038,791 views, while Gangnam now stands at 2,896,057,993 views.

Even though YouTube will never forget Gangnam Style; it hit maximum possible views (2,147,483,647) on the platform till YouTube’s limit itself had to be re-coded after all, See You Again’s success is the talk of the town now.

Reports suggest that the Furious 7 tribute to Paul Walker (2015) has earned $2.9m from YouTube and approximately the same amount from 665 million plays on Spotify. The video reached 1 billion views in six months after release and hit 2 billion in September 2016!

Gangnam-Style, it’s about to be a long day without you my friend.
