One of the most awaited films of the year, 2.0, starring Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar and directed by Shankar, has a new release date. It will now release on January 25, 2018 instead of this Diwali. The reason? Post-production. The creative head of Lyca Productions, which is making the film, took to Twitter to make the announcement. The time is needed to make sure that the VFX of the film is “world class”, he says.

Rajini and Akshay fans, just hang on there!
