Muslim-raised British-Pakistani, Zayn Malik has recently stated that he does not identify himself as a person of faith. In an interview with British Vogue, when Zayn was asked whether he would call himself a Muslim, he replied, “No I wouldn’t”.

He added that his religious beliefs are a very personal matter and he wouldn’t like to talk about it because he could get into trouble.

Some of Zayn’s fans are unhappy but most seemed respectful of his decision.

Others are not even shocked.

If you think his fans are done asking him personal questions, then you’re wrong. Here’s a pertinent question that Muslims ought to understand and wonder about.

Let’s hope the ex-One Direction member and boyfriend of Gigi Hadid doesn’t cancel Eid celebrations, cause we love ’em cultural traditions.
