Will Smith Showers Praise on Ranveer Singh’s ‘Gully Boy’
Will Smith had this to say about ‘Gully Boy’.
Ranveer Singh starrer Gully Boy, has been getting rave reviews and has also had a bumper opening at the box office. But the cherry on the cake, is this video that Hollywood actor Will Smith put out on Instagram praising the film.
He said, “Ranveer, I love what you're doing. It’s so nice to see old school hip-hop all across the world.” The rapper in Will smith seems to be mighty impressed with the film.
Gully Boy traces the journey of Murad, a boy from Dharavi who strives to make it big as a rapper. The underdog story directed by Zoya Akhtar and also starring Alia Bhatt, Vijay Raaz and Sidhant Chaturvedi released on 14 February.
The film has been praised for Ranveer Singh’s extraordinary performance and Zoya Akhtar’s authentic depiction of Dharavi and the struggles of people from there.
