‘PadMan’ Star Akshay Kumar Reveals the Reason Behind His Bald Look

With PadMan slated to release on January 25 and with the Karan Johar production, ‘Kesari’, a period drama based on the 1897's historic Battle of Saragarhi waiting in the wings, Akshay Kumar is a busy man.

While promoting PadMan at the grand finale of Bigg Boss Season 11, his public appearance became a talking point because of his buzz cut.

Rumours were rife that he shaved his head for a hair weave. While talking to a TV channel, he put the speculation to rest.

“...It was getting uncomfortable to don a huge turban for <i>Kesari</i> and a tonsured head provides some respite from a sweaty head.”
