The internet is a treasure trove. It throws up unexpected gems. A 2017 video of Miss World 2017, Manushi Chhillar bumping into Miss Universe 1994 Sushmita Sen on a flight has resurfaced and the web junta is expectedly ecstatic.
In a terrific throwback moment, we see Manushi when she was in all likelihood Miss India, gearing up to be Miss World beaming as she exchanges pleasantries with Sushmita. Manushi wears an expression that appears like adulation at its peak. We also hear Sen saying, “Give it your best shot and then leave the rest in God’s hands. All the best.”
Sushmita personifying grace is also seen gently kissing Manushi’s hand. Manushi is naturally overwhelmed and Sushmita’s good luck wish has clearly worked wonders for her.
