Apart from being a typical larger-than-life Salman Khan film, Bharat, which released on 5 June, has been making news for other things as well. Recently, a video taken at Bharat premiere venue went viral on the internet. Featuring Salman Khan, the video shows a very different side of the Dabangg actor.
In the video, Salman Khan is walking outside the venue. As he makes his way out, fans begin to surround him and his body guards immediately come to rescue. Just then, Salman Khan haults, steps back and slaps one of the guards circling him.

According to the person who posted the video, Salman Khan slapped the guard as the latter was manhandling a fan who was in the crowd.
Such aggressive behavior from Salman has left many divided on the internet. While one Twitter user pointed out that “I guess he forgot about #BeingHuman”, another came to Salman’s rescue saying that “He slapped the bodyguard cause he misbehaved with a fan who was a female.”
Salman Khan’s Bharat released today and like most of his Eid offerings, it seems to have been well-received by the masses. Bharat also stars Katrina Kaif. It is an official remake of the Korean blockbuster Ode to my Father. Bharat takes us through the journey of independent India through the protagonist Bharat played by Salman Khan. It also stars Sunil Grover, Disha Patani, Tabu and more Bollywood actors in supporting roles.
Bharat has been directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. It was originally supposed to star actor Priyanka Chopra Jonas. However, the actor had to quit last minute and Katrina Kaif later came on board for the project.
