Reema Kagti, Adarsh Gourav, Varun, Shashank Doubles talk 'Superboys of Malegaon'

'Superboys of Malegaon' hits theatres on 28 February.

Superboys of Malegaon directed by Reema Kagti is set to hit theatres on 28 February. The film is about Nasir Shaikh (played by Adarsh Gourav) who decides to make a Sholay of his own with his friends. The film also stars Shashank Arora, Vineet Kumar Singh, Manjiri Pupala, and Muskkaan Jaferi among others.

We at The Quint could not get a hold of Adarsh, Shashank, Kagti, and the writer of the film Varun Grover, so we got their doppelgangers for this conversation. They may not know much but itne paisa mein itna hi mileage (you get what you pay for).

Varun's doppelganger lead the conversation and we learnt that he has immense knowledge about Malegaon, Reema's lookalike has no idea if Javed Akhtar (the writer of the original Sholay) has watched Superboys of Malegaon, and she was not happy to be paid less than Gourav.

The film is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar, Zoya Akhtar and Kagti with Kassim Jagmagia, Vishal Ramchandani and Angad Dev Singh acting as co-producers.
