After a marrying in a surprise ceremony in Las Vegas in May, Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas were wed for a second time in an elegant affair in southern France. The couple shared their first photo from the ceremony with Sophie in a beautiful long-sleeved lace gown and Joe in a dapper black tuxedo.

Louis Vuitton creative director Nicolas Ghesquiere also shared a photograph of the bride from the back, showing the lace detailing on the veil and gown.

According to reports, the wedding kicked off with a dinner at the Chateau de Taurreau, followed by a rehearsal dinner at the Hotel La Miranda in Avignon on 28 June. The main wedding ceremony took place at the Chateau de Taurreau on 29 June and the guest list included Sophie’s Game of Thrones co-star Maisie Williams.

Sophie Turner’s sister-in-law Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas joined the couple earlier for pre-wedding celebrations which kicked off with a yacht party. The foursome were spotted dancing by a river and having a great time in the sun.

Later Priyanka was seen in a pretty pink sari and Nick in a tuxedo with a stylish lapel pin.

Sophie and Joe’s impromptu wedding in Las Vegas took place on 1 May, the same day that the couple obtained their marriage license. The ceremony was broadcast live on music producer Diplo’s Instagram and was attended by Joe’s brothers Nick Jonas and Kevin Jonas and Priyanka Chopra. In in an interview with UK’s The Times, Sophie Turner revealed that she and Joe Jonas singer broke up one day before their wedding. “It was the worst day of our lives. For a second we both had cold feet, then 24 hours later we were both like, ‘Never mind’,” she said.
